With over 104 years of unparalleled expertise in Ayurvedic treatment, Krishnendu Ayurveda stands as a beacon of traditional healing. Since its establishment in 1908, it has successfully treated over 2.5 million patients, continuing its noble mission under the stewardship of the fourth generation of Ayurvedic doctors from the founding family.

The roots of this revered institution trace back to the visionary M.C. Kunjuraman Vaidyan (1881-1946), a legendary figure in Ayurveda. Guided by his mentor, Mootha Koyi Thampuran, known as the Kerala Vagbhatan of Ananthapuram Palace, Haripad, Kunjuraman Vaidyan founded Sree Rama Krishna Pharmacy, widely recognized today as Chingoli Ayurveda Hospital. His profound knowledge and dedication laid a solid foundation for what would become a century-spanning legacy.

Half a decade later, the baton was passed to the great R. Krishnan Vaidyan (1911-1993), a distinguished graduate of the Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum. His tenure saw significant growth and expansion of the hospital, fueled by his role as a committed physician and member of the Board of Studies in the Ayurveda faculty of Kerala University. Under his leadership, the Chingoli Ayurveda Hospital and Research Centre flourished, embracing the wisdom of its founders while expanding its reach and impact.

Dr. Mohan Babu, a fourth-generation Ayurvedic physician from the Chingoli family, brings over 30 years of clinical experience to his role. A graduate of the Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, University of Kerala, he has specialized in spine and joint care. His dedication and expertise have earned him the Global Excellence Award 2010. Dr. Mohan Babu continues to uphold the family’s legacy of healing and excellence.
