The roots of this revered institution trace back to the visionary M.C. Kunjuraman Vaidyan (1881-1946), a legendary figure in Ayurveda. Guided by his mentor, Mootha Koyi Thampuran, known as the Kerala Vagbhatan of Ananthapuram Palace, Haripad, Kunjuraman Vaidyan founded Sree Rama Krishna Pharmacy, widely recognized today as Chingoli Ayurveda Hospital. Half a decade later, the baton was passed to the great R. Krishnan Vaidyan (1911-1993), a distinguished graduate of the Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum.
