ARTHRITIS CARE 
Arthritis is a common ailment affecting usually men and women above age of 40, especially those 
with less bone density or calcium deficiency. According to Ayurveda, the major reason for Arthritis is 
lack of digestive fire (Agni) and accumulation of toxins (Ama) in the body. Generally this condition is due to deprived digestion and weakened colon, results in accumulation of waste matter and toxins in our body. Most common types of arthritis are Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, first one affects the cartilage of bones and later one affects the joints. Osteoarthritis is considered as the prevalent form of arthritis across the world. People who are suffering from either Osteo or Rheumatoid arthritis, have to come across this situation due to old age to be more prominent, degeneration where the fluids inside our body becomes dry, due to increased toxins thus leading to swelling, inflammation and stiffness. 
Along with oral herbal medication the basic therapies used for Arthritis are Lepanam, Abhyangam, 
Elakkizhy, Podikkizhy, Manalkkizhy, Narangakkizhy, Muttakkizhy, Njavarakkizhy, Pizhichil, Januvasti, 
Greeva vasti, Virechanam, Vasti etc. Body purification and rebalancing is also done with a prime goal of strengthening the immune system so as to stop any further impairment to the joints. 

SPINE CARE 
Sitting for long hours, incorrect posture and lack of exercise beside injury or weakness of muscles are few reasons that can result in chronic back pain. The pain is persistently sharp and leads to stiffness in the lower back, pain might radiate to the legs too and there will be burning sensation or numbness. Weakness or injury to the spine can lead to slip disc that leads to so much agony. Quite debilitating, back pains related to spine can have other reasons too, like growing age, overweight, smoking, arthritis, spondylitis, sprains and strain. It not only restricts the body movements, but also increases your dependency and that can be very painful. 
Ayurveda explains that most of the spinal problems are result of vitiated Vata and weakness of bones and muscles. Ayurvedic herbal medications, warm oil massages as Abhyangam, Kateevasti, Pichu, Lepanam, Vasti, Elakizhi, Podikkizhy, Manalkkizhy and Pizhichil will prove to be very beneficial in offering the much-needed relief.
