About Modi Yoga Retreat

Modi Yoga Retreat is an oasis of wellness in the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh. It sits like a Gem by the Ganges distinguished by elegance and enhancing every element of wellbeing. A luxury holistic wellness centre and yoga retreat, located in the picturesque foothills of the Himalayas, the birthplace of the Indian ancient arts of Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda.

The five great elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether contain a group of properties which are the basic building blocks of everything in the material universe.
The human body is also made up of these five elements and disintegrates into its constituent elements upon death. A balance between these elements is required in our body for human body to be healthy and happy.

The retreat follows an integrated approach to wellness with Advaita, Living Beyond 100 and Yoga at its core to maintain this balance of elements. A broad spectrum of wellness modalities on offer including: ayurvedic therapies, naturopathy treatments, nutritional advice, physiotherapy, exercise, counselling, lifestyle consultation, meditation and self-awareness using traditional, alternative and contemporary treatment methods with the healing presence of nature create a holistic healing experience, while also offering adventurous opportunities to explore the exotic exquisite local scenery.

GUEST HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES 
ENTRY & EXIT 
Single entry point with a guard 24/7 and a temporary nursing station for 
temperature monitoring, symptom checklist and proper wearing and disposal of 
PPE. Doors on the entry point to be closed at all times. 
TRAINING 
Training of all the posted staff for standard operating procedures regarding PPEs, 
disposal of waste, cleaning and disinfection. 
VENTILATION 
Cross ventilation to be prevented at much as possible. Natural ventilation or 
individual AC units for rooms. AC ducts to remain open in the lobby area and 
kitchen area. AC will be shut down in corridors as much as possible. 
FOOD 
Special disinfection, sanitization and hygiene protocols for kitchen and restaurant. 
LINEN & LAUNDRY 
Non-disposable linens, pillow covers etc. to be changed daily. Clothes and 
linen- soaked in 1% hypochlorite solution (for 30 minutes) and then washed in hot 
water (90°C) with normal detergent. Separate room for laundry services within the 
premises. 
HOUSEKEEPING 
Daily decontamination of floors, frequently touched spaces and dot knobs. 
Cleaning and decontamination with 1% hypochlorite solution 
MEDICAL FACILITIES 
24/7 availability of doctors and nurses at facility. Basic first aid care and emergency 
drugs available. Oxygen/nebulization support. Daily comprehensive medical 
examination of all residents. In case of development of symptoms, patient to be 
shifted to AIIMS, Rishikesh.
