The main treatments in Age Halt are Abhyamgam, steam bath, Nasyam, Virechanam, Vasthi, Pizhichil,Kizhi, Sirodhara, Sirovasthi, Kayasekam, Navarakizhi, Kapala, Tharpanam, Karnapooranam, Lepanam, and face pack. Yoga, an additional component of the treatment, helps improve vitality and efficiency and creates a harmonic balance in the body, thus adding to longevity. The treatment is complemented by Ayurvedic meals, herbal juices, teas and ravasanas to nourish the body. A minimum of 21 days of strict treatment, including a diet of restricted Ayurvedic food, is necessary to make a change in the body. The programme starts with a cleansing treatment to eliminate the toxins, followed by medicines and a thorough diet.
